Today students chose and began working with monologues from the repertoire of dramatic literature. These scenes included ones from the following plays.

For homework tonight, please look up your play on wikipedia so that you have a little more of an idea of who your character is and what he/she is doing for when we meet again Monday. If you weren't in class today, please be sure to pick a monologue for yourself.

A grade for reflections written to date will appear on MySchool this weekend. All reflections, past and future, should represent TEN MINUTES of THINKING and WRITING and must be submitted ON THE DAY of the class meeting. All future reflections will appear on MySchool as homeworks and will not be accepted beyond the day of class. If you are absent from class on a particular day, please simply write a comment stating that you were absent.
