Today was the first day of the fourth quarter, but we had a few last loose ends to tie up from Quarter 3. We performed six scenes in rapid succession. They were the following.
1. Sam and Siri (with help from Martin) - Picture Pair Scene (a.k.a. "Mr. Gecko")
2. Mike and Gamlet - Picture Pair Scene (a.k.a. "Brothers")
3. Sam, Mike, and Gamlet - History Scene (a.k.a. "The First Triumvirate")
4. Chris and Onur (with help from Max) (a.k.a. "The Chess Game")
5. Martin, Evelina and Luke - History Scene (a.k.a. "The Death of Rasputin")
6. Siri and Silke - Repertoire Scene (Rehearsal only)
Please remember that only each student's two most successful devised scenes (Picture Pair, Picture Group, History) will count toward his/her Quarter 3 grade.

Today drama lesson was beautiful :D
ReplyDeleteWe all had to do random scenes.
I liked the Siri`s and Sam`s. they were the best. And i kind of liked the scene with Christina, Max and Onur. They had good very interesting story. I didnt like the scene with Mike because i wasnt finished at all so it was hard to it, we didnt get good grade for that for sure. =P
BUT IT WAS FUN !!!
In todays lesson we performed our last scenes that needed to be performed for the 3rd quarter. It was a great success for many groups, in which Onurs and mine was one of them. We have been working hard for this day however i still managed to mess it up a little bit by the pouring coffee part. Anyway:)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed watching siri and sam's performance i believe it was the strongest of all today. i thought mikes and gamlets was well done as they made a good scene out of it. i enjoyed performing with onur and it was a great success.

Evelina was away today so Martin and I didn't have to do our history scenes. I therefore could relax and watch the performances.
ReplyDeleteI thought that there were many good performances today. Joint top would be Onur and Christina's and Sam and Siri's :). Sam and Mikes was also very good and Mike and Gamlet's was funny.
Onur and Christina's was very funny and had a great plot. Sam and Siri's was also very funny (maybe not as funny as Onur's and Christina's) but their acting was very good.
Today, we had to catch up and act out the scenes we didn't manage to act out on Friday.

I only had to perform one today, and that was my picture pair scene with Christina. We performed it very well and we both enjoyed it while we were. Even the class said they liked it. This made us very happy. :D
I'm really happy that we finally performed everything we needed to (at least I did)and I'm really happy about my grades on them too.

In this lesson we simply went through our scenes .
I filmed my picture pair. I mixed up some of my lines so that was kinda upsetting cause I worked hard to learn them . I thought overall it was quite good because we actually had our lines done and it was like the Final :D
we watched a lot of peoples , umm i think Mike and Gamlets was funnier the firt time the performed it in rehearsals because I liked the 'swears' like holy schnitzel.
I really liked Onur's and Christina' though it was really good : )
It was a fun lesson though : )

ReplyDeleteIn this lesson we went through our scenes that we didnt have enough time to do last lesson. I think we all did great but we all need to work a bit harder in my opinion. Everybody's scene was funny, even though it wasnt meant to be and i really enjoyed myself doing the scene with onur and chrisina. I think i made an awsome frame and painting! great work everyone

Anyways, since the only thing i did in that lesson was watch everyone else's performances i will just comment on their performances. I thought that all of them were greatly acted. And there were a few that i haven't even seen before like Sams and Mikes, and Evelinas and Anne-miekes. They were very good to be performed in front of the class as a first time. But to pick 2 that were the best of all the scenes i would say Sams and Siris scene and Christinas, Onurs, and Max's scene. Both of them were so well-acted with well-written scripts, it was such an entertainment for us, the audience. Thanks for the great lesson all of you!!
