Today we started working on the "Death of a salesman' scene after we watched the scene from the movie. Me and Evelina were paired up for the scene as either Howard or Willie. Though, throughout the whole lesson we had trouble picking who would be who. But at last we got recommended by Mr.M to flip a coin on it. So it ends up i'm Howard and Evelina is Willie. I like it this way too since be fun playing the boss and when we read through the script i thought that i would be fun to act out his lines. I will also definitely have my lines learned by the end of easter. For the last part of the lesson the whole class chose 2 people to act as Willie and Howard. We all voted that Sam would act as Howard and Martin would act as Willie. They acted very well as a first time, even though Martin stumbled upon his lines a bit. But i guess if i was up there i would of probably done the same thing :S But other than that they did a great job. I also liked how Sam gave a good tough, masculine salesman's voice. It worked very effectively, and i know that i will find it pretty hard to get a man voice. But me and Evelina will anyways work as a great team with this scene, for sure.
Today's lesson was the start of our death of a salesman scene. I decided to be Willy and Max is Howard.
We seem to have understood the script quite well. The lines aren't too difficult to learn (except for my large chunk) so it won't take too long until we have learnt our lines.
Todays lesson was a good introduction to what we are going to be doing and what direction we are going in.
Today we were paired up ;). I was paired with Cristina!! I never was paired with her so its gonna be fun!
Sooo we just rehearsed it and we went over it Im willy and i Really dont know how to learn that lines because it is a lot and for me actually to much :/ but okay Cristinna wanted to be Howard :).
im not looking forward to learn the lines because it is a lot but okay it is nice to perform it later but i dont like the Death of the salesman himself!
The lesson today was fun because we had to choose who is Willy and Ho.. i dont remember his name. ANd Martin was Willy he had a lot o lines to learn it was kind of to much. I dont know i dontknow how am i going to learn my lines. We watched the scene on the computer and we saw what is it has to be. It is a hard story. There are difficult word for me. So it was funny lesson ))

It is a quite interesting scene and there are many different ways you can act it out. Later in the lesson (closer to the end), we have voted for Martin and Sam to perform their parts in their scenes. Sam was Howard and Martin was Willy. It was quite an interesting act I think they go together very well and have done a great job performing!
It was an interesting lesson to learn from and Over the easter holidays we are expected to know our lines for when we come back.
Today in drama class we were paired up into our Death of a Salesman groups after watching a scene on the projected image of Death of a Salesman which was very fun. After this we went into our seperate groups and we worked on this scene as we were given all the lines to learn over the easter holidays and ya thats it... I have a feeling it will be amazing playing these parts as it looks really fun and Since, my partner Luke and i did it a few times we pretty much know how to act it out. We figured it would take about 10 minutes to act it out as it is long...
Later on in the lesson we picked 2 of our group members to play Howard and Willy, the two characters we are learning to play and we watched them act it out... I am Howard by the way. We picked Sam and Martin to act it out. They did well but only because of the fact that they had to read their lines and i think taht is the thing that will improve in time about our scenes. The more we know our lines the better.

Then we all stopped and we sat down in a semi-circle and voted on who should act out the scene. Martin and Sam ending up acting it out, and I think they did really well for their first try in front of an audience. They just need to work on how they say the lines. Especially Martin when he has to say the really long line. I'm scared of saying it myself.
I don't know if I'm going to miss any lessons since I'm going abroad on Wednesday, but I don't think it will be a big problem for me if I do, since we will probably just be trying to learn out lines for the next few lessons.

There are a lot of lines that need to be learnt, props that need to be brought in and costumes that need to be thought of, but im sure at the end it's going to be a very good performance ! :)

Reflection: Today in class we went into our pairs. I thought it would be fun to be with Sam because we work well together. Silke was put with us , which is cool but she needs to speak up more >< :P . When I was doing my angry Sam kept talking horrible things like : YOU AREN’T GOING TO GET THAT JOB ! GET OVER IT! which made me speak louder and more annoyed : ) Yaay sam :P . I am really looking forward to this scene though , it’s going to be fun : )
