Reflection - Thursday, May 20
Today, we started with performances of remaining repertoire monologues, including Martin's, Mike's, Christina's, Anne-Mieke's, and Gamlet's, then had performances of several repertoire scenes including Martin and Evelina's, Luke and Sara's, and Max and Galmet's. Before the class I came in to record my monologue from yesterday which I did not manage to perform last lesson. I think I did pretty good but I wished I did better, anyway.
ReplyDeleteDuring the lesson we have performed our repertoire scenes for the camera. All of us performed our repertoire scene except me and mike and another group as far as I know.
By next lesson we are support to learn our repertoire scene for those who have not yet performed and also know our Death of a Salesman scenes.
Today durning class we watched the rest of the monolouges, mike's, gamlet's and martin's. They all did really well, we then watched a few repotoire scenes, Martin and Evelina's, Max's and Gamlet's and finally Sara's and Luke's all of them did well, but unfortunatly i couldnt do mine since onur was absent :(
ReplyDeleteToday in class we watched Martin', Mike's, and Gamlet's monologues. They were good :). Then we watched most of the repetoire scenes. I really likes Martin's & Evelina's scene, it was really funny and well acted. Max put on a really good accent for his and Gamlet's scene. Over all they were all good :) . Well done guy s :D keep it up : )

ReplyDeleteFor our single lesson we rushed to get the extra monologues done and our repertoire scenes.
It was gamlet, mike and martin that had to do their monologues. They performed it really well,and knew all their lines. So yay for you guys! Then me and luke had to go perform our repertoire scene. In my opinion, it went pretty well. We didn't miss any lines or do any wrong staging, it went like it was supposed to be. Just hope the grade reflects what i thought. Next martin and evelina went. THEY WERE FANTASTIC!! I loved it. Even though they had to repeat it a few times, it was a joy to watch. It looked all so realistic and the audience were really entertained. Good job you guys! Gamlet and Max were also really good. Loved the dance and the drawings and just the WHOLE THING. It was great to watch you guys. Good job! Tomorrow there is no lesson but me and evelina have to perform our death of a salesman scenes. From our rehearsals we know the script inside out and hopefully won't mess it up. We have also planned the costumes we will wear. Some causal jeans, a plain long-sleeved shirt with a brown vest over. We will both have our hair up and try to put on many voices with manly gestures and sitting positions. Hopefully it will work well and we will get a good grade :D

ReplyDeleteToday we started watching Martin, Gamlet and Mike monologues and then we performed our repertoire scenes. Sara, Luke, Martin, Evelina, Max and Gamlet performed their repertoire scene. I liked Evelina and Martin’s repertoire scene. It looks really naturally when they perform.

Today we only had a single period. In this period we worked on the end of our monologues and we also did our repertoire scenes. These were graded. Only Gamlet, Mike, Christina and Martin had to do their monologues this morning and then we were able to start. We, Luke and Sara, Gamlet and I and Evelina and Martin managed to do our scenes, They were amazing. They all expressed DRAMA. Surprise surprise. WE then had the end of the lesson and left. :P
Today we performed our repertoire scenes. After the remaining people finished their monologues, Sara and I went up. It was finally an end to Sara constantly killing me. I think that the scene went very well and we didn’t make any mistakes. I’m very pleased how Sara and I performed the scene.
ReplyDeleteMartin and Evelina also went up. Their scene was funny and the two had a very good energy. Max and Gamlet were the last ones up with their Picasso Einstein scene. This was very funny and performed well.

I think my monologue went really well and it was quite fluently so I was happy that I did it and that I don’t have to worry about learning my lines for that one anymore. So I finished that and Martin, Gamlet Mike did it in class Later we saw the repertoire scenes the first one was Sara and Luke they both were very good in acting it... I think Sara was very serious in doing they both did it very naturally. After them it was Martin and Evelina it was so cool I never saw them doing it! But I think they did it perfect it came so naturally like a real couple and they were really good even though they didn’t do it right the first time the second time was AMAZING. After that there was Gamlet and Max I know how it goes but still it is really nice to see them dancing the Macarena ( after that it was in my head the whole day but okay!) and they drew their pictures so fast it was really nice to see all those repertoire scenes in this single lesson.

ReplyDeleteSo, on that lesson we first started off as watching the remaining monologues. Then we presented our final repertoire scenes, i think that mine and martin's was very good, once we messed everything up but otherwise it was awesome, considering that we were fooling around in class and never really practiced.
